Loving Kindness Speaks
Gentleness is a gift that only the gentle can give. You must first be gentle within in order to extend that gentleness outward in radiant warmth to others.
Loving kindness speaks only for loving kindness. To be a voice for this most gentle movement, you must first embrace your Self with loving kindness or you will no doubt falter in your extension to All. If you withhold gentleness from one, you withhold it from all, for all is within one, for one is all.
There is no differentiation in which you can justify the extension of loving kindness to some and not to others, for this is not loving kindness.
Technique:
Phase 1: Stand in front of a mirror, look deep into your eyes, now smile as you extend a loving warmth from your heart into the heart of the image on the mirror. Hold this smile and warmth for as long as you feel compelled.
If a thought arises that says “this is silly” or something similar to that, know that this is a thought that desires to keep you from expressing loving kindness unto your self.
Phase 2: Repeat the process in Phase 1 except this time, look into the eyes of those you meet during your day. Quietly greet everyone you meet with this loving kindness and witness your day transform into a shining rainbow of love.
