How to Meditate

Watch The Thoughts

Sit for a moment, if you will, and watch the thoughts as they run through your mind. You need not focus on any one thought, simply watch the thoughts as they appear and disappear.

Practice this now, if you will…

If you did, even for the slightest of moments, you were in conscious meditation. Your mind is always active and meditation is its action. You are always in a state of meditation whether you see it or not. The effectiveness of the meditation depends on your willingness to release all thought that is insufficient to your freedom.

For the moment, let’s assume that all thought you allow to arise in your mind is insufficient to your freedom and all thought must be surrendered so as to enter into mystic consciousness. The more focused the mind is in entering into the stream of mystic consciousness, conscious awareness beyond form, the less the mind is consumed by thoughts that lead to karmic accumulation binding you to the domain of form.

Consequence Of All Thought

What is karmic accumulation? In a simple sense, it is the consequence of all thought that binds your identity to the world of form. Every action you take of your own self-made interest has a degree of karmic accumulation. Self-made interest equates to choosing to take an action for the sole intention of producing a specific result. Thought leads to action. To be in action while maintaining a thoughtless mind releases your attachment to the karmic accumulation. You are not in action of yourself, you cannot be in action of your self-made will. The will of The Mystic within is that which gives rise to the action. Attaching your mind to the world of form through action of your own self-made interest creates karmic accumulation. Being selfless in thought surrenders your mind to the Will of The Mystic.

If you are looking for information on how to meditate, you are looking for information that will free your mind, as that is what meditation allows to occur. That which your mind is focused on is that which you intend into your experience. How you meditate depends entirely upon the value you see in whatever specific meditation you use.

Meditation is not a practice of repetition, it is a practice of releasing all attachment to the world of form. If you desire to meditate, your willingness to let go of what you think you know is instrumental in the effectiveness of the meditation. The more attached your mind is to your self-made thought forms, the more your mind is bound to the illusion of limitation.

Meditation Leads To Freedom

Meditation leads to freedom, all thought forms that arise from your own self-made point of view are the specific thought forms that you must release. If you were able to be free in and of your self-made view of separation, you would see your freedom now. Seeing your freedom depends entirely upon your decision to release your mind from your own self-made prison of thought form, and step into the Truth that remains eternally in the Now.

Meditation is the means through which you step into the Truth that remains eternally in the Now. Even though you may not recognize it, you are at this very moment being guided into your freedom by a spiritual voice that never ceases. The less you focus on your own thought forms and the more you listen to this spiritual voice, the more you release yourself from the self-made prison.

If you wish to meditate, sit in silence; silence of mind and silence of sight. Allow the internal voice that arises from your heart to captivate you Now. In this is the Pillar of Truth running through the core of your being. The less your mind is focused on thoughts that lead to external "things" being perceived as "me," the more your mind must then turn inwards towards that Pillar of Truth where it is seen the internal and external are both an expression of what lies beyond the perception of form.

Truth Of Your Meaning

That Pillar is pure Light and it exists Now and forever. The past cannot touch it and the future cannot know it. The more you see the self-made thoughts you allow to enter the mind that pertain to the past and future identifying who you are as meaningless, the more you will see the Truth of Your Meaning.

If you have not recognized it, in all the words that have been used to up to this point, you have been shown how to meditate. There is no specific form of meditation that will give you your freedom. Eventually, you must release the specific form so as to embrace the meditation of Now, for in the Now your meditation is constantly focused on Truth. In that focus is your freedom. All forms of meditation, no matter what they are, lead to this freedom. All forms of meditation all have the same result, entrance into Mystic Consciousness.
